An adventure of a lifetime awaits you on this 10 day backpacking and horseback riding extravaganza. After a day of making new friends and building a strong team we will pack up all we will need for 5 days of adventure in the wilderness. We will walk across lava fields with good friends and mountain breezes emerging from the wilderness with a new sense of independence and a real sense of accomplishment. From the wonders of the Cascades we will travel back into the high desert to work together on a service project for Healing Reins Therapeutic Riding Center. In exchange for your work on a service project you will get to know your new four legged pal by feeding and caring for him as well as going for a ride together each day. (No riding experience necessary as there will be a daily riding lesson.) Whether you have been around horses your entire life or have only admired their beauty from afar, there will be an adventure for all.
